We provide a range of speech-language and occupational therapy services including specialised services in social awareness, emotional intelligence, sensory processing and self-regulation.
To work alongside families and other key people in the young person’s life, to provide practical skills and strategies to support them to become successful in all aspects of their life.
Our team of specialist occupational therapists and speech & language therapists are passionate about the work they do, and strive to create a friendly and welcoming environment.We work closely together with the families and other professionals already involved with the child or young person e.g. Government Agencies (Oranga Tamariki, High and Complex Needs, Intensive Wraparound Service, Mana Aki, Permanent Caregiver Support Services etc), Schools, Paediatricians, Social Workers and Psychologists.

Assessments
All clients that come through our services will undergo an initial assessment, which provides clarity for families and forms a basis for the next steps. A range of assessments are available.Individual Sessions
Individual speech & language and/or occupational therapy sessions are provided to support sensory, regulation, and social communication skills.Kids Club & The Zone
Weekly social and leisure groups for children aged 5-12 years (Kids Club) and teens/young adults (The Zone). These groups encourage positive social interaction and provide opportunities to connect with like-minded peers.Resources
Socially Speaking offers a range of workshops for parents, caregivers, and educators. These range from one hour to a whole day, and length can be tailored to meet the needs of the participants.
